Corporate University. Types of test questions

This article describes the types of test questions in the "Corporate University" application based on Bitrix 24 from Novus-HCM.


There are four types of questions that can be asked in tests:

  • Option - the test taker must choose one or more correct answers.;

  • Sequencing - the test subject must restore the correct sequence;

  • Matching - the test taker must make a correct comparison of answer options;

  • Open - the test subject enters the answer in free form, and the verifier notes whether the answer is correct or not.

Entering question type "Option":

1. Select question type"Option" and enter the weight of the question (in this case, it is mandatory that the sum of the weights be equal to 100% and that all questions in the test be displayed):



2.Enter a question in the field "Enter a question in this field" and click on the plus sign






The question will be added to the test and will appear in the "Entered Questions" field.



3. Select the required question and click on the plus sign,





a field for entering answers will appear:



Enter your answer in the "Enter the answers to the question selected above" field and click on the plus sign




The answer will be added to the question. You can answer:




- mark as correct;





- delete entered answer;





- edit entered answer.





In order to mark multiple correct answers in a question, click on Mark as correct answer on each of the options that is correct. There will be a check mark next to the answer option.



You can add materials to each answer, for example, graphics, pictures (for this you need to select an answer):




Entering question type "Sequencing":


1. Select question type "Sequencing" and enter the weight of the question (in this case, it is mandatory that the sum of the weights be equal to 100% and that all questions in the test be displayed):



2. Enter a question in the field "Enter a question in this field" and click on the plus sign







3. Select the required question and click on the plus sign,



a field for entering answers will appear:






4. When entering answers, arrange them in the correct sequence using these arrows.




When displaying a question to the testee, the answers will be arranged in a random order and the testee will have to arrange them using the same arrows in the correct order.



Entering question type "Matching":


1. Select question type "Matching" and enter the weight of the question (in this case, it is mandatory that the sum of the weights be equal to 100% and that all questions in the test be displayed):



2. Enter a question in the field "Enter a question in this field" and click on the plus sign







The question will be added to the test and will appear in the "Entered Questions" field.


3. Select the required question and click on the plus sign,



- a field for entering answers will appear:




It is necessary to add answers and correspondences to them.

When outputting to the tested, the application will automatically randomly arrange matches. The test taker will need to place the matches correctly.



Entering question type "Open":


1. Select question type "Open" and enter the weight of the question (in this case, it is mandatory that the sum of the weights be equal to 100% and that all questions in the test be displayed):


2. Enter a question in the field "Enter a question in this field" and click on the plus sign







The question will be added to the test and will appear in the "Entered Questions" field.


3. Add a reviewer. This is the person who will check the answers to this question.








After the test is published and employees begin to answer open questions, the answers to each question from each test taker will appear in the tester's personal account in this tab (there will also be a notification on the portal):

You must choose:

  • That's right

  • Incorrect

You can add a comment and record the results.

After the verifier checks the answers, the test results are finally calculated and the test results are displayed.
